063/366

064/366

065/366

Using the words "crazy" and "stressful" to describe this past week would be a colossal understatement. So, I apologize for the lack of posting...but when Landin reads this years from now he will be able to ask us why the posts were so short for the next couple of months and we will get to fill him {you} in on the whirlwind of a life this family had. Within a year, we have made the long trip from Wichita Falls, TX to New Jersey and will be going all the way back to Texas {only San Antonio this time}

Landin:
We are so excited to be moving back to your state of birth! There are a couple things that have been requested of us as your parents.
One: you are not allowed to be a Dallas Cowboys fan. You come from a family of Cleveland Browns fans and Washington Redskins fans. Hopefully times have changed by the time you start watching football and these teams actually have a winning season or two. But if not and you decide to pick your own team to choose from, we have to tell you that it should not be the Cowboys {who you actually decide to cheer for is completely your own choice, just know that you will have a huge football rival in your grandpa}
Two: we have to do everything in our power to get you to remain accentless! This one sounds funny {and probably completely unrealistic}but we will try to keep you sounding completely sophisticated. We like to think that neither your dad nor I have a very strong accent and we kind of like it. We feel the more accentless you are, the more cultured you will be. But, if you do end up with a Texas twang just know that you are one of the lucky ones that all of those country singers talk about in their songs
Or as Trace Adkins sings:
"...you know mama's and daddy's want better for their daughters
Hope they'll settle down with a doctor or a lawyer
and their uptown, ball gown, hand me down royalty
They never understand why their princess falls
For some camouflage britches and a southern boy drawl"

However, just because you have a Texas twang, it doesn't mean you wont be a doctor or a lawyer. You can be anything you dream of being!
We love you! :)

Anyway..I hope you enjoyed the pictures. Landin has so much character and like I have said many times before, he is changing daily. He is also trying so hard to stand and walk and is doing a wonderful job {as both sets of grandparents got to see on skype yesterday!}

So until tomorrow,
Landin's mom
